This Oriflame lipstick is from the Triple Core line and its color is Dazzling Cherry. This is said to combine a balm, an enriched color and also a gloss into one high quality lipstick.

Once again, the quality of this product is outstanding! I was actually looking for a nice red lipstick for ages and I’ve finally discovered one that suits my taste. The intensity of the color is just right for me and it is absolutely perfect to accomplish that elegant look. Besides, it is really creamy and after applying it, you can surely feel that it has some hydrating features. In terms of duration, it really lasts a long time. I would say that meals are the only exception. Even though it doesn’t come all off, you will definitely need to retouch it. About the glossy texture, I’m not that sure about it because I simply don’t see any gloss in it. I think that what they are trying to say with this is that this lipstick isn’t matte. In my opinion, it has a discrete but elegant texture, which is a little bit shimmery. Other thing that I really like is the scent of this product. I’m not picky with smells but I really enjoy a product that has a nice scent. And this smells divinely! Finally, there is the packaging. I think that it is one of the reasons why this is a little bit expensive than the other lipstick that I reviewed. Obviously this has a better quality as well but the packaging really has influence on the price. While the other one was around 7 Euros this one is almost 10 Euros. In any case, it is an excellent product worth trying out.

Nell is a South Korean indie rock band that was formed in 1999. They started by performing at various clubs and their first album was out in 2001, under the title Reflection of. While listening to their songs, it becomes quite notable some of their influences, such as Muse, Placebo and even Coldplay. Their music is quite distant from the mainstream sphere. It is a smooth and perfect mix between some rock influences and nowadays alternative music. While their first albums display some kind of an emotional climax, their latest albums have a peaceful and poetic feeling.

They have indeed a very melodious sound that becomes quite particular. Their style is also impossible to be confused, since their music is so unique.

This Oriflame liquid eyeliner is from the Very Me line and is in the color black. Besides this, it was available a wide range of colors, including glitter eyeliners. This product is from the Click It range, whose concept is all about two products in one. It’s not only about the economy of space, it is also about something that you can easily take everywhere with you.

I do love this product! I was actually looking for a good liquid eyeliner for ages but I didn’t want to spend that much money on it. The quality was indeed a huge concern for me because this is the kind of product with which you can’t afford to go wrong. Luckily, I found this and I’m glad I have given an opportunity to it (even though I was a little sceptical about its quality due to the affordable and extremely low price). This comes in a 3.5 ml container and it has a little applicator that allows a unique and precise application. It is indeed the perfect product for lining and defining the eyes, and you can just use it to subtly enhance your eyes or to create something a little bit bolder, for instance a fullest cat-eye. The characteristic which makes this product so high quality is obviously its long-wearing formula. I apply it early in the morning and it lasts me all day, without smudging or anything. Besides, it can be easily removed with a proper makeup remover. Its price it’s even better, less than 5 euros.

Already more than a month flew by since I did my last update on how things were going with college and with my internship. It’s basically over a month since I’ve became an intern. Almost two months now. I think it’s been quite an enriching and educational experience for me. I’ve been learning quite a lot not to mention that I’ve been experiencing what means to work with individuals (that are certainly different from you, that sometimes are impolite, that basically don’t pay you that much attention). I was already expecting some difficult situations because it was my first work experience. I’m trying to look at it from a positive perspective because I know that I’m dealing with a real work situation. I know that in the future, even when I’ll be working in a completely different situation, things will probably be the same. It’s the way things are. You are just an employee that only has to do her job properly and that’s basically it. I’m not complaining at all because I do agree with that. And I’m quite a perfectionist so I like to do things the right way, as best as possible. But sometimes you just need to bite your tongue and live with it.
Everything is pretty much the same with classes. I just wish that I had another English teacher because mine is driving me insane. I’ve had classes with him two semesters ago and he is the kind of teacher that is always giving a bunch of compositions and boring and lame errands to do. Sometimes I just would like to tell him a loud, I don’t have time, capiche? Besides English, I’m just having Seminary classes. Therefore, the time to start doing my internship report is actually coming closer. We have to hand out a middle report in two weeks so I’m already working on it. What I like about my teacher is that she is always giving us small tasks to do at home, that basically will be part of the report. So even though we don’t notice, we are already working on it. Apart from all my tiredness and exhaustion, everything is more or less ok. Let’s see how things go.

This Oriflame lipstick is from the Pure Color line and its color is Coral Rose. As you can probably tell, it is a coral, peachy lipstick with some pink undertones to it.
The quality of this is actually amazing. Personally, I tend to doubt the quality of the product when it comes to lipsticks. The major problem with these is normally the duration and how long it can last on your lips without retouching it. For me, this works perfectly fine. It really last a long period and the intensity of the color is marvellous. I do feel that it is really hydrating and keeps my lips really soft. Therefore, the lips won’t feel dry but actually extremely smooth. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this and I’ll surely be ordering a few more. The only thing that I think that could be improved is the packaging. It’s all plastic and it does feel cheap. I know that is mainly because of the price, which is around 6 euros. Anyway, it doesn’t feel that appealing if you only take in consideration the packaging. Apart from that, this is a really high quality product.

That was exactly what happened today. Better, it was actually what happened in the last half hour. My inspiration finally decided to strike and I basically entertained myself doing the new design. To be honest, I was already feeling a little bit tired of the plain layout. It’s true that I do like a clean and minimalist look, but I tend to get tired of these quite fast. So this time I’ve decided to keep some low key layout going on but with a little bit more of graphic content. I’m really pleased with it! I’m quite a nerd when it comes to these things, since I really enjoy spending the time editing and playing around with graphics.
Besides all the aspect differences, I’ve also added some new features. I have now a partners section since I plan on doing some giveaways really soon. Besides, since I’m exploring again the beauty/fashion topic, I thought it would be a good idea to add this content. I’ve also added an about me section and a disclaimer. The rest stays pretty much the same. And let’s hope it stays like this for quite a while.

As promised, here it is my Oriflame order. Oriflame is basically a Swedish cosmetics group which sells their products through a catalog system. Therefore, in order to buy some of their products, you have to know or search for someone that sells it. Anyway, this wasn’t my first order at all. My mom used to sell it so I’ve already tried quite a lot of their products. However, I do think that this was the biggest order that I’ve made so far.

The first product that I ordered was the Very Me No time for Shine Powder. This is basically a matte light powder that comes with a little sponge to apply it. The true is that I’ve made this order before going to Sephora. Therefore, I wasn’t expecting to buy another powder but that was exactly what happened. So I’m not really using this right now since I’ve been using the Make Up For Ever HD Powder. Then, I ordered the Giordani Gold Mineral Therapy Concealer. I have to say that I was pretty disappointed with the size of this since it looked a lot bigger. Besides, this was a little bit expensive compared to the other products so I was hoping that it contained more product that it actually contains. Next, I ordered two lipsticks. The one on the left is called Coral Rose and the other one is called Dazzling Cherry. By their names you can probably tell that one is a rosy coral and the other one is red. I’m really satisfied with the quality of these two even though the prices were very different. Lastly, I ordered two more products from the Very Me line. I do think that these are very high quality. On one side, you have a red Lip Stain and on the other side, you have eyeliner. There are quite a lot of products that you can choose from to build this one piece product: apart from the eyeliner in multiple colors and from the lip stain in two colors, there are also concealers and glosses. These two are sold separately but if you buy two of these they offer you the middle piece that allows the other two to connect.

This is pretty much it. I’ve been using these products non-stop, except the powder, so reviews will probably be out soon.

Music is all about feelings. Personally, I do think that music is one of the few ways through which we can all connect in this world because it is something universal. I do love Japanese and Korean music and I do feel that music can break all the boundaries and the barriers between different times, different spaces, and different languages. If you are able to feel it, if a shiver comes down your spine, if it touches your soul, than that is all that matters. I’ll continue to post this type of music in my blog, even though I know most of you are not interested in it or find it different from usual. I mainly want to share things that are unknown and unfamiliar for you, and who knows, maybe you will feel as touched as I’ve once felt.
Brown Eyed Soul is a Korean group who released their debut album, Soul Free, on September 18, 2003. This band is indeed one of my favourite Korean bands. Their music can be probably considered as the ballad type since their tunes are often mellow and very peaceful. There is certainly a feeling of uniqueness while listening to each one of their songs. It’s not only their notable vocals that stand out. You can’t help out feeling touched by every single music. There’s passion, dedication and commitment.

The Make Up For Ever HD Powder is a universal translucent powder to be applied over foundation. However, it can be worn alone on bare skin. It is used to set any foundation and it helps mattifying the skin. This product is formulated with 100% mineral silica that helps softening all imperfections. Besides, it evens out the complexion, giving your skin a glowing look. It comes in a jar that contains 10 grams and its price is around 30€.
As I said before, the moment I tried it on my skin I was completely blown away by the quality and the results of this product. This product is great for the ones who have generally oily skin since it is oil-absorbing. It gives a flawless finish, without that cakey powdery feeling that some powders have. The skin looks and feels extremely smooth. I was really astonished by how silky and smooth my face was after applying it.
It sets my foundation without adding any extra weight and it lasts all day long, while looking extremely natural.

I’ve never believed in absolutes. The same way I don’t believe that we are in the fully control of our existences. I do believe in destiny and that some things happen for a reason. Some people like to say that we are the ones that make our own destinies, through our actions and choices. I tend to believe quite the opposite. There’s no such thing as control. There’s no such thing as being the solely responsible for what we call life. A person that strongly declares something like this is someone who has never dealt with pain nor lived anything in life. In the end, there will always be bigger realities than us that suddenly go beyond all of our efforts and condemn the life that we take for granted. Does it all come down to fate? Obviously not.
Today I was able to see how small and insignificant we are as human beings. Because in a matter of seconds our world can easily collapse, while everything is being taking away from us. Mother Nature is indeed the strongest force that we have to deal with.
Today, my biggest prayers go for all the victims of Japan’s earthquake and tsunami. I hope yours too.

travelling around the world.

I've been in Interpals since December until now. Frankly, it has been quite an enriching and marvellous experience for me. I’ve been learning so much and sharing even more. As I said before, getting started on this type of thing isn’t easy at all. First, you have to be patient and be open-minded. Second, you have to sort out the crowd, based on your interests, convictions, beliefs. I think that it ends up being as anything in life: you got to stay strong and keep searching for the right people. Luckily for me, I’ve already found amazing individuals to share my thoughts, passions and daily affairs. Since December until now I’ve already made two official pen pal friends, both of them from South Korea, but I’ve also met a lot of different people with whom I’m keeping contact through social networks.

Pen pal ends up being a big commitment and I don’t think that would be the right thing for people that have troubles with routines and this kind of obligations because in the end it becomes a routine, as every other one that we have in our lives. For me, it’s something like a cycle: the excitement of receiving a letter, the enthusiasm to write back, the anticipation of receiving the answer, everything until you get the actual letter. As I said, it’s something that needs time and patience. But in the end, it turns out to be really enriching and inspirational. Just the simple though that you’re sharing your life with someone from the other side of the globe, makes it worth it. The way I see it, it is a constant sharing, a continuous discovery for each side. And I’ve already discovered a life’s worth of knowledge.
