lee soo young.

Lee Soo Young is a Korean ballad singer. She made her debut in 1999 in Korea with the song I Believe and since then she released nine albums and five mini-albums.
She has undeniable talent, passion and soul for making music. Still, I feel that it is much more than simple music since I started to experience so many new emotions while listening to her songs. It's undeniable that her vocals are just amazing. Her voice is smooth and unbelievably calm, capable of relaxing even the most anxious. But it is powerful too, and there's no option than feeling absorbed by her melody. I think that what I feel most attracted about is the type of artist that she is: someone that is just devoted to her music. She makes art, not just through her music, but also through her MVS. It's a story inside another story. I guess you will only understand this if you see any of her MVS. The visual concepts are just brilliant and I feel like most artists should learn something from that.
She is definitely a precious gem.

#3 letter to your parents.

Dear parents,

I just realized why am I holding so much to this letter, why am I not finding the proper words to express my feelings. In the end, a simple I love you will fulfil this hiatus, not in my heart, but in my expressing attempts. A casual thank you will express all my caring, all my love, all my being.
I love you, I always will.
From your little girl.

joanne's weather forecast.

Tomorrow's weather forecast. I'll try to keep this gloomy clouds away from my skies. Tomorrow I'll try to blow them away, as If the wind and I were the same, two united natures, two ways of feeling.
Tomorrow this storm will be over. The old and dusty leafs that fly around me will soon be gone.

Inês, from Only More Words, offered me the official stamp of her blog. I am supposed to follow a couple of rules which are: describing who offered it in one word, describing her blog in two words, describing myself in three words and finally, describing my blog in four words. The person that offered me this is someone extremely creative and her blog is between the lines of something unique and precious. Regarding myself, I am someone who is extremely perfectionist, romantic and a natural dreamer. This blog is simply my friend, my listener, my mate and my treasure.
Last but not least, I'll pass this stamp to every single one of you who follows my blog.

joanne's weather forecast.

Today’s weather forecast. Though the sun still shines now and then outside, it's quite cloudy inside. And it rains, like the skies where crying themselves untill they were dry of tears, thoughts or emotions.
I just wish that I wouldn't be afraid of this dark weather.

Yiruma is a South Korean pianist and music composer. Despite his nationality, Yiruma is well-known throughout the world. Among his most famous pieces are River Flows in You, Kiss the Rain and Love Me, which have been widely mistaken as being associated with the movie Twilight.
I've always been passionate for this kind of instrumental compositions. In my opinion, piano solos are the most beautiful and touching form of music that I've ever listen. And Yiruma is quite a prodigy in this area. I've been listening to his compositions for more than four years. I stumbled in his composition for River Flows in You somehow and the first time I heard it, everything ended up in tears. Yiruma has a unique way of communicating. We can feel his emotions, thoughts and ideas throughout the movement of his fingers, all in the melody, in the echo that stays on our soul. If you close your eyes, there's nothing more beautifull than that.
For me, It is pure poison.

I want tomorrow to be another day, I want everything to be different.

“just once…tell me that you like me. then all of this will be over.”

I’ve got caught up. I guess that is the best way to describe it. I guess it’s even harder to not get caught up. I challenge anyone to stay indifferent or not touched at all, at least girls whose pastime is something close to dreaming with eyes wide open. I’m one of those girls, I confess. I get touched by simple things, I cry every time I feel overwhelmed about something. And I’ve being crying a lot this past times.
Korean dramas have that influence and most of the responsibility for that. It’s hard not to feel moved by something like that. You would call it  a soap-opera or a regular TV series. It’s something in the middle of both. Still, I feel that is somewhat very different from our regular TV entertainment. Even when it is a romantic comedy is not even near our western ones. I guess Asians have just the power to do something visually beautiful and overwhelming as well as remarkable. There’s a certain magic and enchantment that I don’t find anywhere else.
I’ve started seeing my girlfriend is a nine-tailed fox last month and I finished it last week. I ended up seeing Cinderella’s sister first. And yesterday I finished boys over flowers. All of them are different from each other. The first one and the last one are both romantic comedies with a dramatic twist once in a while. The other one is a dramatic love and life story from beginning to end. It’s hard not to shed a tear in every case. I guess I am just too emotional about things and that is the main reason why I am always crying when I see this type of thing. Anyways, it’s something I recommend to everyone who is looking for different entertainment with a fresh feel to it. But be aware, you’ll cry rivers.
